Capital Area Veterinary Specialists and Texas Veterinary Oncology is a veterinary specialty referral center dedicated to providing compassionate and skilled care to its patients while providing excellent communication and service to referral veterinarians. We will also maintain a friendly, fair, and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas, and quality employee performance.

It is our desire to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients and offer the best possible service to our clients; the referring veterinarian and the pet owner. We value the relationship, continued trust, and goodwill we establish with our clients. Courtesy, respect, and patience with clients and their pets are among our priorities. An attitude of “WE ARE GLAD YOU ARE HERE” must be conveyed to each and every client. Clients favor us by selecting us to care for their pets; this is an important concept to remember as it makes it easier to understand the importance of showing genuine concern and interest in a client’s message.
This work environment is often full of emotion, action, laughter, sweat, prime time, and downtime. Whatever occurs in our work environment, it is important to always REMEMBER WHY WE ARE HERE.
